BEAUTIFUL BECKY

Becky Lucas is yet another Brisbane-born comedian (Luke Heggie, Matt Okine, Mel Buttle), a part of the raw comedy alumni performing her show Cute Funny Smart Sexy Beautiful as part of the Brisbane Comedy Festival.

Lucas keeps busy not only performing nationally and internationally but co-writing for The Other Guy with Matt Okine and Josh Thomas’ Please Like Me. You may have also seen her on ABC2 hosting Big Bad Love.

Lucas shares her insightful observations about everyday life in her show, via twitter (she was in the top 27 comedians on twitter according to Buzzfeed) and she even has a weekly newsletter, which anyone can subscribe to via her website. Lucas has plans to make these newsletters into a book one day and then she can add published author to her credits.

An accomplished performer, Cute Funny Smart Sexy Beautiful is her fourth solo show. From dick picks to annoying uncles, low self-esteem to being a ‘lazy feminist’ and marvelling about the organisational skills of a polyamorist, Becky has a chatty style which is honest, totally relatable and very funny.
